Yuvraj Singh making steady progress

The all-rounder will miss the NZ warm-up game but the medical team is satisfied with his recovery

The BCCI Medical Team confirms that Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh who is presently down with viral fever is making steady progress.

There are no major health concerns and he is recuperating well, to the satisfaction of the medical team.

He is advised rest and will miss India’s first warm-up match against New Zealand at The Oval on May 28, 2017. The medical team will continue to monitor Yuvraj Singh’s progress and hope for a speedy recovery.

Cricket Advisory Committee set to conduct interviews for candidates for Head Coach

Interested candidates to send their application on or before the 31st of May 2017

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would like to call upon interested candidates to apply for the position of 'Head Coach' for ​​India​n​ Cricket Team​ (Men)​.

The process has been initiated since the term of the current coach, Mr​. ​Anil Kumble concludes with the Champions trophy.

Present Head Coach, Mr. Anil Kumble will be a direct entry for the process.

To ensure a fair and completely transparent process, a nominee of the Committee of Administrators (CoA) will oversee the entire process along with the Cricket Advisory Committee.

The BCCI's three-member Cricket Advisory Committee comprising Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, Mr. Sourav Ganguly and Mr. VVS Laxman will conduct interviews and seek presentations to select the best possible candidate to guide the team and take Indian Cricket forward.
