India ‘A’ squads for one-day tri-series and two 4-day games announced

Unmukt named captain for tri-series, Rayudu to lead in four-day games

The All-India Senior Selection Committee met earlier today in Chennai to announce the India ‘A’ teams for the one-day tri-series involving Australia ‘A’ and South Africa ‘A’ and the two four-day Test matches against South Africa ‘A’.

India ‘A’ squad for tri-series: Unmukt Chand ( C ), Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey, Karun Nair (V.Capt), Kedar Jadhav, Sanju Samson, Axar Patel, Parvez Rasool, Karn Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni, Sandeep Sharma, Rush Kalaria, Mandeep Singh, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Rishi Dhawan.

India ‘A’ squad for Tests: Ambati Rayudu (C ), Karun Nair (V. Capt), Abhinav Mukund, Ankush Bains, Shreyas Iyer, Baba Aparajith, Vijay Shankar, Jayant Yadav, Axar Patel, Karn Sharma, Abhimanyu Mithun, Shradul Thakur, Ishwar Pandey, Sheldon Jackson, Jiwanjot Singh.

Paytm bags title sponsorship rights

Paytm will sponsor BCCI's international and domestic matches for the next four years

Paytm grabs the title sponsorship rights for India home series for four years.

One 97 Communications Pvt. Ltd. (Paytm) have acquired the sponsorship rights for the BCCI International and Domestic matches. The winning bid was at a price of Rs.203.28 Crores to be paid over the 4 years term. The bid was opened in the meeting of the BCCI marketing committee held earlier today ​in New Delhi.

Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, Mr. Anurag Thakur said, “​We are elated to have Paytm as our homes series title sponsors. They are one of the new generation companies and we are delighted to partner with ​them. Having them for next four years gives the stability and continuity to Indian cricket.​ ​With nearly 84 matches scheduled over the next 4 years with all major countries playing in India we are hopeful that Paytm will be able to build a strong and strategic association with Cricket. We are also happy that the realisation has increased by 20%. It augurs well for Indian cricket. I am thankful to Paytm for their interest and faith in Indian Cricket and welcome them on board.”

India will host South Africa later this year which will be the start of the International season association with Paytm.
