Indian Cricket Team to tour Sri Lanka for a three-Test series

The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and Sri Lanka Cricket would like to confirm the schedule of India’s tour to Sri Lanka in August-September 2015. The tour will start with a three-day warm-up game against Sri Lanka Chairman's XI, followed by three Test matches. The Test matches will be played at Galle, Tamil Union Oval, and SSC Colombo.

BCCI congratulates Indian Women’s cricket team, announces 21 lakh reward

President and Secretary issue statements on 3-2 ODI series win over NZ

The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) would like to congratulate Indian Women’s Cricket Team for registering a 3-2 ODI series win against the New Zealand women’s team.

BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya said: "Congratulations to our skipper Mithali Raj on leading the team with distinction and registering a series win against the New Zealand. Team has shown remarkable character to come back from 1-2 to and win the series. BCCI would like to announce a reward of 21 Lakhs INR for the team. "

BCCI Hon. Secretary Anurag Thakur commented on India women’s win: “On behalf of BCCI I would like to congratulate the team on the series win. It was a dominant performance today and they deserve all the accolades.”

"This five-match ODI series proved to be competitive and was a wonderful showcase for the skill and class of women's cricket. It augurs well for the future. I would also wish to congratulate Mithali for reaching yet another milestone in her illustrious career of crossing 5000 runs. Well done once again for a stellar performance," he added.
