Taniya Bhatia, who hails from Punjab made her debut for India in February, 2018 in South Africa. Taniya's agility behind the stumps also landed her at a special training camp at the National Cricket Academy - under former India wicketkeeper-batsman Kiran More's supervision. In her second ODI for India, Taniya lifted India to a respectable total with a 66-ball 68, her maiden international half-century. She then took two vital catches and pulled off a stumping during the end overs of Sri Lanka's chase to hand India a seven-run win.
