Rinku Singh is a hard-hitting left-handed batsman from Uttar Pradesh, known for his explosive finishing and sharp fielding. He rose through the UP age-group system and made his first-class debut in 2016–17, later finishing as the team’s highest run-scorer in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy with 953 runs. Rinku became a household name in the IPL when he smashed five consecutive sixes for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2022 which became a moment that showcased his exceptional temperament and power-hitting ability.
His performances earned him a T20I debut in 2023, after which he was named among India’s travelling reserves for the triumphant 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup campaign and later featured in the 2025 Asia Cup squad in which he hit the winning runs in the final and thus helping India lift the cup. Rinku Singh’s journey is a reminder that relentless hard work and self-belief can turn dreams into reality. His finishing skills and clean striking make him one of India’s most exciting lower-order batters.
