As many as seven Chhattisgarh batsmen failed to open their accounts in the second innings as Goa registered an easy victory in Cuttack. Opener Sahil Gupta was the lone bright spot as he made 82 facing 201 balls while the rest of the lineup caved in. From 148/4, Chhattisgarh were bowled out for 162 runs in 67.3 overs. Spinners Shadab Jakati (4/41) and Darshan Misal (3/24) worked well in tandem.
Chasing 91, Goa lost opener Sumiran Amonkar for naught but Swapnil Asnodkar remained not out on 41 to secure an easy victory. Goa bagged six points for their first win this season and are now seventh in the table.
Andhra vs Services in Indore: Services 446 (Anshul Gupta 72, Shamsher 136, Rahul Singh 127; Cheepurapalli Stephen 3 for 87, Bhargav Bhatt 2 for 136) and 27/0 drew against Andhra 341 (Prasanth Kumar 110, AG Pradeep 76; Azaruddin Bloch 5 for 92).
Services managed to gain first innings lead and in the process picked up three points as Andhra faltered on the final day. Replying to Services’ massive 446, Andhra, who resumed the day on 177/1 and trailed by 269 runs were bowled out for 341. Prasanth Kumar scored a century and AG Pradeep made 76, but that was not enough. The Services were aided by Azaruddin Bloch, who picked up a maiden five-for in his third match. Despite the first innings lead, Services still remain last in Group C with six points from five matches.

Having conceded the first innings lead to Kerala on the third day, Haryana put up a resilient batting display in the second innings on the fourth day with Nitin Saini registering his career best score of 152 not out. With Rajat Paliwal (75), he added 145 runs for the third wicket in a stand that lasted 43. 5 overs and added 100 more in an unbeaten partnership for the fourth wicket with Mohit Hooda, who scored a half-century. Jalaj Saxena picked up two wickets but he is ruled out of the next game owing to a double fracture on his left index finger.
Himachal vs Jammu & Kashmir in Ranchi: J&K 162 & 417 (Ian Dev Singh 99, Shubham Khajuria 86; Bipil Sharma 4 for 97) lost against Himachal 370 & 210 for 5 (Robin Bist 52*, Ankit Kalsi 47; Samiullah Beigh 3 for 56) by 5 wickets
Set 210 for victory, Himachal registered a five-wicket win with Robin Bist anchoring the chase with an unbeaten half-century. Having conceded the first innings lead after being bowled out for just 162, J&K replied strongly in their second essay and amassed 417 runs. Himachal were in trouble early on when Ankush Bains was dismissed for eight but Prashant Chopra and Ankit Kalsi added 41 for the second wicket to allay any fears. No. 5 Bist, who walked in with his side losing the third wicket for 91 guided the team home. This was Himachal’s second win this season and they are now placed second.
