The Adelaide Oval will play host to the first Test between India and Australia from 9th of December. Brisbane which was initially scheduled to host the first Test of the series will now host the second Test on December 17th. The Sydney Test will be pushed back by three days to allow the players more recovery time especially after the sad turn of events over the week (Phil Hughes’ demise).
A reworked schedule meant, players would have to gear up for a hectic month of Test cricket with just about four days of buffer time before the start of the next Test. Players are set to get a longer break between the third and fourth Test which is scheduled to start on the 26th of December and 6th of January respectively. India are expected to play a two-day tour match in Adelaide on December 4th and 5th.
