Dhaka, March 5: Hosts Bangladesh have announced a 15-man squad for the Asia Cup 2012 but without naming the captain or vice-captain.
Mushfiqur Rahim, who led the team in their last series, against Pakistan in December 2011, has been included in the squad along with former skippers Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza. Flamboyant opening batsman Tamim Iqbal finds himself on the list of stand-by players.
Bangladesh will open the tournament with a match against Pakistan on March 11 and will take on India on March 16 before playing against Sri Lanka on March 20.
The final is scheduled to be played on March 22. The entire tournament will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.
