Baroda, Jan 12: Bhargav Bhatt registered a five-wicket haul as Rajasthan were dismissed for 394 on the second day of the Ranji Trophy final at the Moti Bagh stadium.
Bhatt was the pick of the bowlers with figures of five for 103 while Swapnil Singh claimed two wickets.
Baroda were 73 for one at close of play with Jaykishan Kolsawala (46) and Kedar Devdhar (4) occupying the crease.
Rajasthan started the day at 198 for three wickets with Vivek Yadav and Robin Bist at the crease.
The duo shared a 50-run partnership for the fourth wicket before Bhatt struck. Yadav was trapped leg before wicket on 27.
Bist perished for 77 before Rashmi Parada (56) and Ashok Menaria (45) forged a stand of 77 runs for the sixth wicket and took the game away from the home side.
Looking for a breakthrough, skipper Pinal Shah handed the ball to Bhargav Bhatt, who got rid of Menaria.
The tail failed to wag for Rajasthan as they lost their last three wickets for just 10 runs.
