Durban, Jan 13: Lonwabo Tsotsobe registered a four-for as South Africa completed a comprehensive 135-run win over India in the first One-Day International at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead in Durban on Wednesday.
The left-armer posted figures of four for 31 off 8.4 overs as the visitors managed just 154 in 35.4 overs while chasing 290 runs.
Excerpts from an interview:
On whom does he think was the special wicket?
Always, it has to be Sachin [Tendulkar].
On bowling at Kingsmead:
Well, I should say that this is my favourite ground and I have always enjoyed bowling at Kingsmead.
On taking heart from his performances during the Tests:
I can say that I was a bit unlucky with the Test matches. I told myself that I am not going to give up. I have been working hard on my fielding and bowling and I think it is paying off at the right time.
On his bowling:
I was told by Dale [Steyn] that the ball was not swinging much. I must try and hit the length and that is basically what I did. I think it was my day today.
