Centurion, Dec 20:Apart from South Africa winning the Centurion Test and taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, Paul Harris and Morne Morkel had reason to celebrate.
Spinner Harris reached 100 wickets in Test cricket when he dismissed Virender Sehwag in the second innings of the game while Morkel got to the landmark while setting the tone for the match with his five-for in the first innings.
Both bowlers were recipients of the milestone awards for reaching 100 wickets in Test cricket.
Excerpts from a chat with Paul Harris.
On reaching the 100-wicket mark in Tests
It is special as a spinner to get 100 wickets for South Africa. As a spinner it was a goal of mine for a long time and it was great to achieve it.
On the feat coinciding with SA winning the Test comprehensively
Of course, it was a great effort from the boys. [Everyone] played as a unit. The bowlers bowled really hard and so it was a good game for us.

On reaching the 100-wicket mark
The ball is coming out quite nicely at the moment for me. SuperSport Park is my own ground and [I have my] home crowd here. It is fantastic and I just want to thank the crowd that came in for the past couple of days. The boys and they kept us going.
On setting up the game for his team with a five-for in the first innings
Yeah, when you bowl first and set the platform for your guys, that is quite special.
