Tiwary, who plays for Bengal on the domestic circuit, has been around for a little over half a decade. In this time he has built a reputation as an aggressive middle-order batsman who is capable of playing the big innings (his highest score in first-class cricket is an impressive 233*). Having debuted for India in an ODI game in Australia in early 2008, he failed to deliver on the big stage, scoring only two runs. Just 25 years of age, Tiwary has already captained Bengal and is known as Chota Dada amongst the state’s cricketing fraternity.
