                            Applications invited for the position of Compliance Officer
                            The Board of Control for Cricket in India (“Board”) invites applications for post of “Compliance Officer” in Mumbai.

                            The Board is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual who will be responsible for and ensure the compliance by the Board of statutory and other requirements. The Compliance Officer will report to the Senior Legal Advisor.

                            After screening/shortlisting of applications, the candidates will be called for personal interviews in Mumbai, for further evaluation.

                            Key Responsibilities:

                            a. Organizing meetings (committee meetings, annual general meetings, special general meetings etc.), preparing agenda for such meetings, attending said meetings, preparing notices and minutes along with follow-up action plans, including handling correspondences before and after said meetings. Contributing to meeting discussions as and when required, and advising on compliance related matters.
                            b. Record keeping, which would include maintenance of internal records, the Board’s statutory status, registers and other statutory books. Accordingly, also be responsible for filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications, if so required by applicable law or otherwise deemed appropriate
                            c. Dealing with and responding to internal and external compliance related correspondence, collating information, and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant parties in a timely fashion;
                            d. Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and taking appropriate action that may be required for maintenance of compliance standards and the statutory status of the BCCI which would involve investigating, identifying evaluating and reporting compliance lapses (statutory and otherwise) and potential areas of such compliance vulnerability and devise corrective action plans for resolution, and provide guidance on prevention of the same.

                            Education:
                             Should be a law graduate, a Company Secretary is preferred.

                            Experience & Age Limit:
                             Minimum PQE of 3 years as a compliance official.
                             Should be below 45 years of age.

                            Knowledge & skills:
                             Risk Assessment – Should be able to identify and give opinion on potential compliance violations or requirements.
                             Knowledge – Updated knowledge and interest in the ever-changing statutory landscape.
                             Teamwork - Work collaboratively with others to achieve business and department objectives.
                             Problem Solving – ability to present solutions make the best decision under pressure.
                             Communication – Excellent written and oral communication in English language including report-writing skills.
                             Time Management- Excellent time management skills, multi-tasking and the ability to work to deadlines.
