Ranji Trophy 2026-27: Round 3 Summary

The third round of the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy shifted the tournament out of its early stages on the back of historic individual landmarks, massive margin victories, and heavy monsoon-driven washouts. The four days of play were defined by exceptional lone-crusader performances. For Baroda, 21-year-old Priyanshu Moliya entered the history books by smashing an unbeaten 321, shattering a 79-year-old franchise record to become only the second triple-centurion in the team's history. Simultaneously, Delhi skipper Ayush Badoni joined elite company by stroking his second consecutive double-century (210*), placing his name alongside Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli as the only Delhi batters to achieve the feat.
