The Duleep Trophy will set the ball rolling for India’s domestic season 2023-24. The prestigious tournament, will see the teams from East Zone, West Zone, North Zone, South Zone, Central Zone and North-East Zone competing for the top honours, will commence on June 28, with the summit clash scheduled to start on July 12.
West Zone and South Zone – finalists of the previous edition of the tournament – will get direct entry into the semifinals. Meanwhile, the winners from Quarterfinal 1 – Central Zone vs East Zone – and Quarterfinal 2 – North Zone vs North-East Zone – will compete for the remaining two spots in the semifinals. While Alur Cricket Ground will host the Quarterfinal 1 and Semifinal 1, M Chinnaswamy Stadium will be hosting the remaining three matches, including the Final.
