In the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2015-16, Saurashtra opener, Sheldon Jackson scored his second century in as many games and days to help the team to victory. After scoring 111 in the first match against Madhya Pradesh on 11 December, he scored 150 runs off the 200-run target on 12 December against Goa to single-handedly take the team across the line.
The group D match was the only game played on the third day of the ongoing one-day tournament.

Chasing 200, Sheldon Jackson was instrumental in Saurashtra’s 10-wicket win against Goa on Saturday. With Avi Barot (49* off 56), he scaled down the sub-par total in 26.4 overs. His whirlwind knock came off just 103 balls with 22 boundaries and four sixes.
Earlier, Shaurya Sanandia claimed three for 41 while Ravindra Jadeja picked two wickets for 21 runs while the rest of the bowling attack claimed a wicket each to bundle Goa out for 199 in 47.4 overs.
