There is a never a dull moment on the field when Kedar Jadhav is around. There is nothing on the field that he cannot do. If he has kept wicket for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, for Team India, he has taken over the role of a part-time off spinner. Primarily, a middle-order batsman, Jadhav is known for his aggressive batting and impressive strike-rate.

The Maharashtra batsman has the unique ability to hit the ball to any part of the ground. Often adventurous, Jadhav can innovate and find difficult angles with ease, making it difficult for a bowler to tie him down. While he has played important knocks lower down the order to boost India’s run-rate in death overs, it was his fabulous knock at Pune, his home ground that stands out. Needing 351 to win in the 1st ODI against England, Jadhav walked in at 63-4 and registered a terrific century with captain Virat Kohli (122) to guide India to one of their most famous wins.
