BCCI condoles death of scorer Tushar Savant

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has condoled the death of Tushar Savant, a BCCI panel scorer who passed away on Monday evening. Savant, who earlier in the day did scoring duties for the Cooch Behar Trophy U-19 match between Baroda and Chhattisgarh being played at Vadodara’s Reliance Cricket Stadium, suffered a massive heart attack upon reaching home.

Savant began his career as an official scorer in the 1993-94 season with his first match, a Ranji Trophy quarter-final between Baroda and Tamil Nadu played at the Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited Sports Complex Ground, Vadodara from February 12-16.

On behalf of the BCCI, I convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family
