    The Multi Day Playing Conditions shall apply to Women's Multiday Matches with the following amendments:

    1. 1. Clause 5.1

      Replace note (a) to (e) with:

      Note: (a) in all matches red BDM balls will be used.

    2. 2. Clause 5.4 Replace Law 5.6 with the following: Law 5.6 - Specifications

      Weight: 5 oz/148 gm

      Circumference: from 8 14 in/21.0 cm to 8 78 in/22.5 cm

    3. 3. Clause 16

      Note: Game will be played over two days with a possibility of 2 innings result and there shall be no limitation on the number of overs for any side in any innings.

    4. 4. Clause 19 Law 19 Boundaries

      Replace first two paragraphs of 19.1 with

      19.1 Law 19.1 - The Boundary of the Field of Play

      The boundary shall be a minimum of 55 yards (50.29 metres) and a maximum of 70 yards (64metres). Distances shall be measured from the centre of the pitch to be used.

    The Playing conditions of One Day Matches shall apply to Women's One Day Matches with the following amendments:
    1. 1. Clause 5.1

      Replace Note (a) to (b) with:

      Note: (a) where ever colored clothing is used white BDM balls will be used

      (b) in all other matches red BDM balls will be used.

    2. 2. Clause 5.4

      Replace Law 5.6 with the following:

      Law 5.6 - Specifications

      Weight: 5 oz/148 gm

      Circumference: from 8 14 in/21.0 cm to 8 78 in/22.5 cm

      Each fielding team shall have one new balls for its innings.

    3. 3. Clause 12.4.2 Delayed or Interrupted Matches

      Clause 12.4.2 a Delay of interruption to the Innings of the team batting First

      Replace the rate of over per hour from 14.28 in the man's game to 15.79 in the women's game as outlined in clauses (i) and (iii).

      Clause 12.4.2 b Delay or interruption to the innings of the team batting second

      Replace the rate of over per hour from 14.28 in the man's game to 15.79 in the women's game as outlined in clauses (i) and (v).

    4. 4. Clause15.3
      Law 15.9 - Intervals for drinks

      Replace the first sentence with: Two drinks breaks per session shall be permitted, each 65 minutes apart.

      5. Clause 16.1
      Law 16.1 Start and Cessation Times

      There will be 2 sessions of 3 hours 10 minutes each, separated by a 45 minute interval between innings.


      Clause 16.2

      Replace clause 16.2 with:

      All day/night matches will start at 2.30 p.m. and time will be adjusted accordingly.

    5. CIause15.2

      Law 15.9 - Intervals for drinks

      Replace the first sentence with: Two drinks breaks per session shall be permitted, each 65 minutes apart.

    6. Clause 16.1

      Law 16.1 Start and Cessation Times

      There will be 2 sessions of 3 hours 10 minutes each, separated by a 45 minute interval between innings.

      Law 19 Boundaries

      19.1 Law 19.1 - The boundaries of the field of play

      Replace 19.1.1 with:

      19.1.1 The boundary shall be a minimum of 55 yards (50.29 metres) and a maximum of 70 yards (64 metres). Distances shall be measured from the centre of the pitch.

    7. 7. Clause 41.2 Restriction on the placement of fielders

      Replace clause 41.2 with the following:

      41.2.1 At the instant of delivery, there may not be more than 5 fielders on the leg side.

      41.2.2 In addition to the restriction contained in clause 41.2.1 above, further fielding restrictions shall apply to certain overs in each innings. The nature of such fielding restrictions and the overs during which they shall apply (thereinafter referred to as the Powerplay Overs) are set out in the following paragraphs.

      41.2.3 The following fielding restrictions shall apply:

      a. Two semi-circles shall be drawn on the field of play. The semi-circles shall have as their centre the middle stump at either end of the pitch. The radius of each of the semi-circles shall be 25.15 yards (23 metres). The semi-circles shall be linked by two parallel straight lines drawn on the field. (Refer attached appendix 1).

      The fielding restriction areas should be marked by continuous painted white lines or 'dots' at 5 yard (4.57 metres) intervals, each 'dot' to be covered by a white plastic or rubber (but not metal) disc measuring 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter.

      During the first block of Powerplay Overs (as set out below) only two fieldsmen shall be permitted outside this fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery.

      During the second and third Powerplay blocks only three fieldsmen shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery.

      b. Two inner circles shall be drawn on the field of play. The circles shall have as their centres the centrepoint of the popping crease at either end of the pitch. The radius of each of the circles shall be 13.12 yards (12 metres) (The fielding restriction area should be marked by 'dots'. The segment of the circles reserved for the slip positions shall not be demarcated (refer attached Appendix 1).

      During the initial block of Powerplay Overs (in an uninterrupted innings, the first 10), there must be a minimum of two stationary fielders within this fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery.

      When a fast bowler is bowling the two stationary fielders may be permitted to stand deeper than 13.12 yards (12 metres) (in the undemarcated area) provided only that they are standing in slip, leg slip or gully positions.

      41.2.4 During the non Powerplay Overs, no more than 5 fielders shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area referred to in clause 41.2.3 a) above.

    Restriction of the placement of fielders

    The final mark of the 13.12 yards radius shall be a line placed at an angle of 45o. measured from the popping crease at a point level with the middle stump.

    The playing Conditions for Twenty20 Matches shall apply with the following amendments:

    1. 1. Clause 5.1 shall apply; except that white BDM balls will be used.
    2. 2. Clause 5.4

      Replace Law 5.6 with the following:

      Replace the rate of overs per hour from 15 in the men's game to 16 in the women's game as outlined in (i) and (iii).

      Clause12.4.2 b Delay or interruption to the innings of the Team Batting Second

      Replace the rate of overs per hour from 15 in the men's game to 16 in women's game as outlined in (i) and (v).

    4. 4. Clause 16.1

      Delete clause 16.1 and replace it with:

      There being 2 sessions of 1 hour 15 minutes each, separated by a 15 minute interval between innings.

    7. 7. Clause 41.2 Restriction of placement of fielders

      Replace clause 41.2 with the following:

      41.2.1 At the instant of delivery, there may not be more than 5 fielders on the leg side.

      41.2.2 In addition to the restriction contained in clause 41.2.1 above, further fielding restrictions shall apply to certain overs in each innings. The nature of such fielding restrictions and the overs during which they shall apply are set out in the following paragraphs.

      a. Subject to 41.2.3 below these additional fielding restrictions shall apply to the first 6 overs of each innings (Fielding Restriction Overs).

      b. Two semi-circles shall be drawn on the field of play. The semi-circles shall have as their centre the middle stump at either end of the pitch. The radius of each of the semi-circles shall be 25.15 yards (23 metres). The semi- circles shall be linked by two parallel straight lines drawn on the field. (Refer attached Appendix 1). The fielding restriction areas should be marked by continuous painted white lines or 'dots' at 5 yard (4.47 metres) intervals, each 'dot' to be covered by a white plastic or rubber (but not metal) disc measuring 7 inches (18 cm) in diameter.

      c. During the Fielding Restriction Overs (as set out below) only two fielders shall be permitted outside this fielding restriction area at the instant of delivery. d. During the non Fielding Restriction Overs, no more than 5 fieldsmen shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area referred to in clause 41 .2.2 b above.

      41.2.3 In circumstance when the number of overs of the batting team is reduced, the number of Fielding Restriction Overs shall be reduced in accordance with the table below. For the sake of clarity, it should be noted that the table shall apply to both the 1st and 2nd innings of the match.

      41.2.4 If an innings is interrupted during an over and if on the resumption of play, due to the reduced number of overs of the batting team, the required number of Fielding Restriction Overs have already been bowled, the remaining deliveries in the over to be completed shall not be subject to the fielding restrictions.

      41.2.5 In the event of an infringement of any of the above fielding restrictions, the square leg umpire shall call and signal 'No Ball.'

    APPENDIX A

    Restriction of the placement of fielders

    GROUND EDUIPMENTS

    All the Staging Associations should ensure that the grounds where the matches of the BCCI tournaments are played are well maintained and they must possess the following basic equipments:


    (1) A set of hand rollers-heavy 1.5 tones and light 1 ton

    (2) Hand driven mowing machines to trim wicket grass.

    (3) Proper pitch covers

    (4) Proper sight screens

    • All venues for Senior Tournaments/Junior Tournaments must have proper dressing room facilities with all necessary amenities for players and match officials.
    • Any ground where matches of Senior Tournament / Junior tournaments are to be played for the first time should be cleared by the Board. The Staging Association must intimate their intention about using a new ground to Hony. Secretary well in advance.
    • Staging Association can take the help of the members of Ground and Pitches Committee of the Board to ensure good conditions and good pitches which are extremely important in organizing a game.
    • The Technical committee of the Board has taken a serious view of some associations who provided under-prepared pitches for matches and to curb the practice necessary steps are being initiated by the Board.
    • The two umpires are authorized to report to the Board any instance of the host association doctoring the pitch to suit its side. In case the pitch is reported to be doctored whatever points the host team has won will be null and void and if the host team loses the game despite the fact it has doctored the pitch, it will be penalized two points.
    CONCEDING/WALK OVER
    1. Conceding a match
    • A team conceding a match in the league phase shall be disqualified from further participation in the tournament and shall forfeit all the points so far scored in the tournament. Also the points already scored by the members against the member team being disqualified shall not be taken into consideration.
    • Such team who has conceded the match, shall be debarred for from participating in the tournament for the next one year.
    • A captain responsible for conceding the match shall be debarred for two years from participating in any tournament conducted by the Board or by any member of the Board.
    • A member conceding a match in the knock-out phase of the tournament shall be disqualified from further participation in the tournament and the opponent shall be declared as winner of the match.

    2. Walkover in a match
    • A member giving a walkover in the league phase of the tournament shall be disqualified from further participation in the tournament and shall forfeit all the points so far scored in the tournament. Also the points already scored by the member against the member team being disqualified shall not be taken into consideration.
    • Such member who has given walkover in a match shall be debarred from participating in the tournament for the next one year.

    3.SCORE SHEETS
    • Honorary Secretary of the Staging Association shall appoint two local official scorers, and first preference should be given to those who have passed the score's course conducted by the Board.
    • Scorers to be made responsible for making proper entries in the score sheets and the score should be completed in all respect.
    • Score sheets thus prepared by the scorers, shall be signed by both of them after tallying all the details entered in the score sheet.
    • Scorers to obtain the signatures of the two umpires on the score sheets who should verify the correctness of the score sheets after the match is over and before they leave the place of the match.
    • Scorers will then hand over the score sheets to the Hon Secretary of the staging Association.
    • Honorary Secretary of the staging association under whose jurisdiction the match was played to see that both the score sheets are forwarded to the BCCI office within 8 days of the completion of the match.

    4. DISPUTES AND PROTESTS
    • All disputes of any nature shall be referred to the Senior Tournament Committee for Senior Tournaments and to the Junior Cricket Committee for Junior Tournament within l0 days of the completion of the match.
    • If there is any dispute in regard to the age, apart from verification of original School Leaving Certificate or Birth Certificate, the cricketers will be subjected to medical tests at the Apollo Group of Hospitals in the respective zones and their decision is final.
    • All protests shall be to the Hon. Secretary/ Hon. Jt. Secretary of the Board and shall be accompanied by a protest fee of Rs. 15000/-. The protest shall be made within l0 days of the completion of the match.
    • Such protest shall be dealt with at the earliest by the Senior Tournament committee/Junior Cricket committee.
    • In case the protest is rejected the fee of Rs.15000/- shall not be refunded. The respective committees shall not be bound to give any reason for their decision.

    5. PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES
    • The winner and runner-up of the tournaments shall be awarded the respective trophies.
    • The Hony. Secretary of the staging member shall ensure that the trophies presented to the winner and runner-up are returned back to the Board's office at Mumbai within one month of the completion of the tournament. If the trophies are carried away by the teams who are the winners and runner-up of the tournament, then the Hony. Secretary of the concerned association shall see that the trophy is returned to the Board's Office at Mumbai, within one month of the completion of the tournament.
    NOTE : The Hony. Secretary of the staging association , within 15 days of the conclusion of the tournament, shall inform the Board's office at Mumbai, the winner and runner-up of the tournament, name and designation of the person who handed over the trophy and photographs, if any, taken of winning side with the trophy. The Honorary Secretary of the staging association shall also inform the Board's office, Mumbai, whether the teams who were the winners and runner-up of the tournament carried respective trophies.
