U-19 Cooch Behar: Mah vs Mum – Day 3
Having taken a first-inning lead after bowling Mumbai out for 238 on the penultimate day of the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy final in Pune, Maharashtra were in the driver’s seat with a day’s play left in the match.
When play ended today, the home team was leading by 261 runs, after posting 205 for the loss of two wickets in the second innings. Vijay Zol was unbeaten on 119 along with S Ranjane (17) when stumps were called.
Earlier, after resuming their innings on 160, Mumbai’s lower order battled hard to take their team to 238, before being bowled out. No.8 bat, Sagar Mishra, was the last to return to the pavilion, trapped leg-before by JP Zope for 69. M Rane was the first to walk back to the dressing room, dismissed by Ranjane without adding to his overnight score, while Amol Chinte claimed Amit Kadam to finish with a four-wicket haul in the innings.
