Ranji quarter-finals from Jan 6th to 10th

The league stage of the AIRTEL RANJI TROPHY, 2012-13, has concluded.

The quarter-finals will be played from 6 January 2013 to 10 January 2013.

The following teams have qualified for the quarter-finals:

GROUP A

Punjab     – 32 pts
Saurashtra – 23 pts
Mumbai     – 23 pts

Saurashtra were placed second, by virtue of their two outright wins at the league stage, as compared to Mumbai’s one.

GROUP B

Uttar Pradesh   – 33 pts
Baroda          – 22 pts
KSCA            – 21 pts

GROUP C

Services    – 26 pts
Jharkhand   – 24 pts

The line-up of the quarter-finals is as follows:

· PUNJAB V JHARKHAND AT JAMSHEDPUR

· SAURASHTRA V KARNATAKA AT RAJKOT

·MUMBAI V BARODA AT MUMBAI – Will be telecast live.

·UTTAR PRADESH V SERVICES AT INDORE

The encounter between UP and Services will be played at a neutral venue because the Services’ Palam Ground at Delhi, which would have otherwise hosted the game, will be staging a warm-up one-day game involving the England cricket team, on 6 January 2013.
