Bairstow flies back home for family reasons
Jonny Bairstow has flown back to England for family reasons and will be unavailable for the second Twenty20 International against India, at the Wankhede Stadium on Dec 22.
The wicketkeeper batsman was part of England’s Test and T20I squad but failed to get a game on the tour. It was during the first T20I, in Pune, that the batsman came to know of his requirement at home.
Jos Buttler is expected to continue the behind-the-stumps duties in the second T20I for England.
