Pujara to lead RoI in Irani Cup

Mumbai, Sep 10: The All-India Senior Selection Committee met at the Cricket Centre earlier today, to pick the Rest of India team for the Irani Cup encounter, and the India ‘A’ and India ‘B’ teams for the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy.
The Irani Cup match will be played between Rajasthan, the 2011-12 Ranji Trophy champions, and the Rest of India, from 21 September 2012 to 25 September 2012. The venue of the game has been shifted from Jaipur to Bengaluru.
The NKP Salve Challenger Trophy will feature Bengal, the 2011-12 Vijay Hazare Trophy winners, plus India ‘A’ and India ‘B.’ The tournament will be played at Rajkot from 29 September 2012 to 2 October 2012.
