BCCI looks to unearth bowling talent

Mumbai, Feb 15: The BCCI has launched a programme to unearth bowling talent from across the country. The NCA faculty will be conducting Open Trials for pacemen and spinners in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh, over the next few weeks.

Boys between the age of 17 and 22 will be eligible to attend the trials. They should not have played in any BCCI– run tournament.

Mr. Karsan Ghavri and Mr. Yoginder Puri will supervise the trials and shortlist the bowlers.

The schedule of this programme is as follows:

1. Himachal Pradesh  -  18 Feb and 19 Feb 2012. Venue: Dharamshala                                                    

2. Jammu & Kashmir -  22 Feb and 23 Feb 2012.  Venue: Jammu

3. harkhand - 25 Feb and 26 Feb 2012. Venue: Ranchi

4. Chhattisgarh - 28 Feb and 29 Feb 2012. Venue: Raipur
