Injured Clarke ruled out of SL encounter

Adelaide, Feb 13: Australia team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said: “Michael Clarke sustained a low grade right hamstring strain in the ODI versus in India in Adelaide on Sunday. He had scans today (Monday) that confirmed the low grade nature of the injury. He will not recover in time to play in Australia’s next Commonwealth Bank Series game on Friday in Sydney against Sri Lanka but I will assess him later this week and decide on his availability for the game in Brisbane on Sunday 19 February against India.”
CA’s National Selection Panel will name the squad for the next block of Commonwealth Bank Series’ ODI’s tomorrow and CA will advise precise timing detail on that announcement tomorrow.
