Adelaide, Jan 29: With the four-Test Border-Gavaskar series swinging completely Australia’s way, the top spots in the batting, bowling and fielding charts have duly been booked by the hosts. Man-of-the-Series Michael Clarke excelled with a triple- and double-ton, ending as the top-scorer across sides at the end of the fourth Test with 626 runs followed by Ricky Ponting (544 runs). India’s Virat Kohli was a distant third with 300 runs. With 27 wickets at an average of 17.22, Ben Hilfenhaus emerged as the bowling hero of the series, followed by another quick bowler, Peter Siddle (23 wickets at 18.65). India’s Zaheer Khan lags behind with 15 wickets at an average of 31.80. Take a look at the Test averages of the two teams at the end of the one-sided series.
