C K Nayudu Trophy

Punjab lifted the Col. C K Nayudu Trophy on the basis of a first-innings lead over Delhi thanks to outstanding performances by batsman Gurkeerat Singh and bowler Baltej Singh. Delhi won the toss and asked Punjab to bat first in the Under-22 final played at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla stadium from January 3 to 6, 2012. Punjab posted 424 runs powered by Gurkeerat’s 187 while Baltej Singh claimed seven wickets to help wrap up the hosts’ innings for 319.
