Since making his first-class debut for North Zone in 2004-05, Dhawan has scored more than 7000 runs in first-class and List A cricket. The southpaw has also earned the appreciation of fans in T20 cricket with his remarkable consistency in the IPL where he has played for three different teams viz. Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Deccan Chargers. An athletic fielder with a good throwing arm, Dhawan is an asset to any cricket team.
