    5.   Prize Money for Domestic Cricket Tournaments

  3. 1. INTERPRETATION

    (a)    BOARD shall mean the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

    (b)    PRESIDENT shall mean the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

    (c)     SECRETARY shall mean the Honorary Secretary and Honorary Joint Secretary of   the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

    (d)    CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER shall mean an Official appointed and so designated by the Board.

    (e)    LAWS OF CRICKET except as varied here under the laws of cricket (2000 code 2nd edition 2003) 

    (f)    PLAYING CONDITIONS framed by the Board from time to time for the conduct of matches which shall apply to all Junior and Senior Domestic Tournaments.  

  4. 2. ENTRY FEE

    Annual Subscription and Entry Fee for the (Senior and Junior) Domestic Tournaments conducted by the BCCI.

            (i) Members eligible to participate in the tournaments shall fill in and sign the    entry form and shall deliver the same to the BCCI Head quarters on or before 30th July of each year along with the entry fee.

             (ii) The entry form which is not accompanied by the prescribed fee shall not be accepted.

            (iii) The member who has paid the annual subscription will not be eligible to  participate in the tournaments that year.

  5. 3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA APPLICABLE TO ALL TOURNAMENTS CONDUCTED BY THE BOARD

    (i)Registration of Players
        Only such players whose registration forms duly signed by the Honorary Secretary of the affiliated association has been received by the Board shall be eligible to play in the Tournament/s conducted by the Board. The player registration forms should reach the BCCI Office at Mumbai at least 15 clear days before the commencement of a tournament and in exceptional conditions, not later than 48 hours before the commencement of the tournament.
              
        (ii) Qualifications and Disqualifications Qualification:
              A cricketer shall be eligible to play for a member on the basis of:
            

             (a) Birth Qualification
                   A member within whose jurisdiction he is born.
             (b)  Bonafide residential/Bonafide service qualification
                    A member within whose jurisdiction he has been a bonafide resident or is in service from 1st October of the year prior to the year of the tournament.

            (c) Change of residence due to studies/service
                  If any cricketer in the course of his employment or studies is transferred from limits of one member to the limits of another member on or before 1st October of the year of the tournament, he shall be permitted to play for the member to whose limit he is transferred on production of proper documentary evidence. Application in such cases should be made by the concerned cricketer to the Honorary Secretary of the Board before 1st October of the year of the tournament.

            (d) Guest Players
                  The Association will be allowed to include three 'Guest players' (from areas outside their jurisdiction) in their squad.
        
                Only three 'Guest players' will be permitted to figure in the Playing Eleven of a team at a given point of time.

                The last date for a State Association to register the 'Guest players' will be 1st September each year.

            (e) Inter Association Transfers
                  A player seeking transfer shall inform the parent member and obtain their written approval before opting to play for another member. Application for transfer should be made by the concerned player and the member to which transfer is being sought, along with the NOC from the parent association, to the Honorary Secretary of the Board. Such player/s shall play only after written permission is granted by the Board.
                 Such players shall be eligible to play for their respective zones in which the member is located.
           
            (f) Special cases
                 Requests from Cricketers on the basis of change of residence / transfer of employment, after 1st,September of  the year of the tournament shall be considered on merits of the case by a special committee consisting of the President and the Hon. Secretary of the Board. Their decision would be final and binding.

    Disqualification

             (a)    No cricketer shall be eligible to play for more than one member in one cricket season.

    (b)    A cricketer who is under a ban/ suspension order passed by any member or the Board shall not be eligible to play in the tournament.

    (c) (i)  If any player who is not qualified under the registration rules to play for a member plays for such a member, the player shall be disqualified from playing in the rest of the tournament as well as in any other tournaments played under the auspices of the Board for the next two years.
           
         (ii) The member shall be disqualified from participating in the rest of the tournament and also shall forfeit all the points, if any, scored. The points, if any, earned by the member against such disqualified member shall also be cancelled and the member to whom the player belongs shall have to pay a penalty of Rs. 50,000/- to the Board.

  7. Z. R. IRANI CUP

    (This Cup was instituted in the year 1959-60)


    A five-day match played annually between the Ranji Trophy Champions of the preceding year and the Rest of India team.

    •    DATE AND VENUE:

        (a)    The match shall be played on such dates as may be decided by the Board upon the recommendations of the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

        (b)    Venue of the match shall be decided by the Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee.
           
        (c)    Matches will be played with SG Test balls.    

    •    SELECTION OF THE REST OF INDIA TEAM:

    The Senior Selection Committee of the Board shall select the Rest of India team. A Local Manager or the Rest of India team shall be appointed by the center staging the match.

  8. N.K.P. SALVE CHALLENGER TROPHY

    The tournament started in 1995-96 is played annually between the three teams i.e. India Sr. India 'A' and India 'B' on one day limited over’s, league basis. (Now referred to as India Blue, India Red, and India Green)

    •    All the matches will be played as Day & Night games at one venue.

    •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee shall decide the draw, dates and  venue.

    •    Every year the tournament will be staged by rotation to be decided by the Tour,  Programme and Fixtures Committee at a center having floodlight facilities and will be played in coloured clothing with White Kookaburra balls.

    TEAMS

    The three teams shall be consisting of 12 players each will be selected by the All India Senior Selection Committee.

    The Staging Association shall appoint a Local Manager for each of the 3 teams.

  9. RANJI TROPHY

    (This tournament was started in the year 1934-35)


    The tournament is open to full members of the Board except The Cricket Club of India, The National Cricket Club and Association of Indian Universities. The tournament shall as a rule be played every year between 1st October and 15th April. The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee may however extend the period for sufficient reasons up to April end.

    (a) The match shall be played on such dates as may be decided by the Board upon the recommendations of the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

    (b) All the matches will be played with SG TEST balls.

    The tournament will be played annually as follows:

    (i) The teams are divided into 2 divisions

        15 teams in Elite Division.

        12 teams in Plate Division.

        The Elite Division will be divided into 2 groups of 8 teams ('A' Group) and 7 teams ('B' Group) and the matches will be played on round robin league basis. The top 3 teams for each group will qualify for knock-out.

       The Plate Division will be divided in to 2 groups (A & B) consisting of 6 teams each and matches will be played on round robin league basis.

       All India Knock-out 6 teams from Elite Division and 2 teams from Plate Division will play in the Knock-Out, leading to the FINAL.

    To decide the 2 teams from Plate Group for the Ranji Trophy Knock-Out, the top 2 teams of 'A' & 'B' group will play a four day knock-out match.

      Demotion: The team finishing last in the group 'A' and in the group 'B' of the Elite Division respectively would be  demoted to the Plate Division in the following season.

      Promotion: The Two teams which qualify from plate division for the Ranji knock-out would be promoted to Elite division in next season.

    (ii) Duration of Match

         League, Quarter Finals and Semi Finals    
         In the League, Quarter Finals and Semi Finals the matches shall be of four days  duration of six hours of play each day.

        Final
        Final shall be of Five days duration of six hours of play each day.

    (iii) Dates & Venues
        The dates are decided by the Tour, Programme & Fixtures Committee. The venues shall be fixed on the basis of rules of rotation for League matches as well as Knock-Out matches.

    (iv)    A Team shall consist of 15 Players accompanied by a Physio and Trainer apart from the Coach and Manager.

  10. VIJAY HAZARE TROPHY

    INTER STATE LIMITED OVERS TOURNAMENT


    (This tournament was started in the year 1993-94)



    The tournament is played in each zone on league basis at one venue. Top two teams from each zone will qualify for the Inter State All India Knock-out.

    All the matches will be played in coloured clothing using White Kookaburra balls, black sight screens and (under lights wherever possible). Each Association shall be required to register the pantone colours of its playing clothing with the BCCI prior to its use thereof.

    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

    The tournament shall be open to full members of the Board except, The Cricket Club of India, The National Cricket Club and Association of Indian Universities.

    DATES AND VENUES

    The Dates and Venues shall be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee at the start of the season.

    However, the venues for the Zonal League shall be finalized by the respective Zonal Committee.

    TEAM

    Team shall consist of 15 Players accompanied by Manager/ Coach, Physiotherapist and Trainer.

  11. DULEEP TROPHY

    The Tournament started in 1961-62 is played annually between five zonal teams on a knock out basis.

    •    All the matches’ up to Semi Final are of four day duration. Final match shall be of five day duration.

    •    All the matches will be played with Red Kookaburra balls.

    •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draw, dates and venues.

    SELECTION OF ZONAL TEAMS

    •    The zonal team shall be selected by the Zonal Selection Committee consisting of a representative of each member in the zone participating in the Ranji Trophy tournament. Out of these members one shall be the member of the All India Senior Selection Committee from the zone who shall act as Chairman of the Committee. No person shall be qualified to be appointed on the Zonal Selection Committee unless he has played First Class Cricket.

    •    The Secretary of the Senior Test Centre from the Zone or his nominee shall convene and attend the meeting of the Selection Committee. He shall not be entitled to take part in the deliberations of the committee nor shall be entitled to vote, except when he attends the meeting as a Selector.

    TEAM

    The Zonal team shall consist of 15 players, Manager/Coach, Physiotherapist and Trainer.

  12. PROF. D. B. DEODHAR TROPHY

    The tournament started in 1973-74 is played annually. It will be played on Knock-out basis with effect from 2008-09 seasons.

    •    Format shall be One Day Limited Over’s and will be played on Knock out basis at One Venue.

    •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draw and dates.

    •    Venue of the matches will be decided by the zone organizing the tournament.

    •    All the matches will be played with coloured clothing and White Kookaburra balls and where ever possible shall be day-night games.

    TEAM

    The zonal team shall consist of 15 players, Manager/ Coach, Physiotherapist and Trainer.

    SELECTION OF ZONAL TEAMS

    •    The zonal team of 15 players shall be selected by the Zonal Selection Committee consisting of a representative of each member in the zone participating in the Ranji Trophy Tournament. Out of these members one shall be the member of the All India Senior Selection Committee from the zone who shall act as Chairman of the Committee. Only those who have played First class Cricket will qualify for Zonal Selection.

    •    The Secretary of the Senior Test Centre from the zone or his nominee shall convene and attend the Meeting of the Selection Committee. He shall not be entitled to take part in the deliberations of the Committee nor shall be entitled to vote, except when he attends the meeting as a selector.

  13. SYED MUSHTAQ ALI TROPHY

    The Twenty20 Tournament started in 2006-2007 will be played in each Zone on League basis. Top Two Teams from each zone will qualify for the All India Twenty20 Knock-Out.

    All the matches will be played in coloured clothing with White Kookabura balls, black sight screens and under lights wherever available. Each Association shall be required to register the pantone colours of its playing clothing with the BCCI prior to its use thereof.

    ELIGIBILTY OF TEAMS

    The tournament shall be open to full members of the Board except Cricket Club of India, National Cricket Club and Association of Indian Universities.

    DATES AND VENUES

    The Dates and Venues shall be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee at the start of the season.

    However, the venue for the Zonal League shall be finalized by the respective Zonal Committees.

    TEAM

    Team shall consist of 15 members, Manager/Coach, Physiotherapist and Trainer.

  14. COL. C. K. NAYUDU TROPHY (UNDER-22)

    (This tournament was started in 1974-75)


    The Board changed the format of the Col C K Nayudu Trophy from the season 2009-2010. It will now be played on the same format as Cooch Behar Trophy (Under -19).  e.g. Elite and Plate group.

    •    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

        The Tournament is open to all full members except Cricket Club of India, National  Cricket Club,    Association of Indian Universities and Services Sports Control Board.

    •    THE TOURNAMENT SHALL BE PLAYED ANNUALLY

        •    All the matches shall be of four day duration.
           
        •    All the matches will be played with SG Tournament (Special) balls.
        
        •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draw, dates and venues

    The teams will be divided into two groups:

    15 teams will play in the Elite Division.

    11 teams will play in the Plate Division.

    The Elite Division is divided into 3 groups of 5 teams each i.e., Elite 'A', Elite 'B' and Elite 'C' and the matches will be played on league basis amongst each member of the group once. Top two teams from each of the three groups (i.e., six teams) would qualify for the Knock-Out.

    The Plate Division is divided into 2 groups of 6 teams in “A” Group and 5 teams in “B” Group and the matches will be played on league basis amongst each member of the group once. Top two teams from each group will qualify for Semi-finals. The finalists will play in the Knock-Out.

    An additional match will be played between the losing Plate Semi Finalists to decide the third and fourth
    Positions in the Plate Division.

    Demotion: The teams finishing last in the group 'A', 'B' and 'C' of the Elite Division respectively will be demoted to the Plate Division in the following season.

    Promotion: The teams which qualify for Knock-Out and the team which finishes third in the Plate Division would be promoted to the Elite Division in the following season.

    •    PLAYER'S ELIGIBILITY

        The players eligible to participate shall be less than 22 years of age as on 1st September of the year of the tournament.

    •    Only three (previous year or current year) Ranji Trophy players* who have represented their Association are eligible to play in this tournament.

        *    A Ranji Trophy player means only those who were in the playing eleven of a team in a 4/5 day games.

  15. COOCH BEHAR TROPHY (UNDER-19)

    This Tournament was started in 1945-46 and the Board changed the format of the Cooch Behar Trophy from the season 2004-2005. It is now played on the same format as Ranji Trophy.  e.g. Elite and Plate group.
    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

    The tournament is open to all full Members of the Board except Cricket Club of India, National Cricket Club, Association of Indian Universities and Services Sports Control Board.
        
    •    All the matches shall be of four day duration.
    •    All the matches will be played with SG Tournament (Special) Balls.
    •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draw, dates and venues.

    The teams will be divided into two groups:

    15 teams will play in the Elite Division.

    11 teams will play in the Plate Division.

    The Elite Division is divided into 3 groups of 5 teams each i.e., Elite 'A', Elite 'B' and Elite 'C' and the matches will be played on league basis amongst each member of the group once. Top two teams from each of the three groups (i.e., six teams) would qualify for the Knock-Out.

    The Plate Division is divided into 2 groups of 6 teams in (“A” Group) and 5 teams in (“B” Group) and the matches will be played on league basis amongst each member of the group once. Top two teams from each group will qualify for Semi-finals. The finalists will qualify for Knock-Out.

    An additional match will be played between the losing Plate Semi Finalists to decide on the third and fourth positions in the Plate Division.

    Demotion: The teams finishing last in the group 'A', 'B' and 'C' of the Elite Division respectively will be demoted to the Plate Division in the following season.

    Promotion: The teams which qualify for Knock out and the team which finishes third in the Plate Division would be promoted to the Elite Division in the following season.

    •    PLAYERS' ELIGIBILITY :

        The player/s eligible to participate should be Under-19 years of age as on 1st September of the year of the tournament. A player in the Under-19 tournament can participate in this age group tournament for a maximum of four years.

        No change or alteration in the date of birth once registered with the Board shall be entertained on any ground whatsoever, including change by affidavit.

        All such players participating in the Under-19 tournament without having participated in other age group are required to undergo medical examination for determination of age as per Board's guidelines and their medical report should    be furnished to the BCCI Head quarters along with the Registration Form.

    •    DATES & VENUES:

         Dates and Venues will be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

    •    TEAM :

        The team shall consist of 15 members, Manager/Coach, and Physiotherapist/Trainer.

  16. VINOO MANKAD TROPHY (UNDER-19)

    This Tournament started in the year 1995-96 is played between teams within a zone on One Day Limited Over’s league basis followed by All India Knock-Out where top two teams from each zone will play.
    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS:

    The tournament is open to all full members except Cricket Club of India, National Cricket Club, Association of Indian Universities and Services Sports Control Board.

    All the matches will be played with SG Tournament (Special) balls.

    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draw, dates and venues.

    •    PLAYERS' ELIGIBILITY :

        The players eligible to participate should be Under-19 years of age as on 1st September of the year of the tournament.

        A player in the Under-19 tournament can participate in this age group tournament for a    maximum of four years.

    No change or alteration in the date of birth once registered with the Board shall be entertained on any ground whatsoever, including change by affidavit.

    All such players participating in the Under-19 tournament without having participated in Under-16 are required to undergo medical examination for determination of age as per Board's Guidelines and their medical report should be furnished to the BCCI Head Quarters along with the Registration Form.

    •    DATES AND VENUES :

        Dates and Venues will be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

    •    TEAM :

        The team shall consist of 15 members Manager/Coach, and Physiotherapist/Trainer.

  17. VIJAY MERCHANT TROPHY (UNDER-16)

    This Tournament was started in 1979-80 will be played between the members in each of the five zones on league basis, each member in a zone playing the other member once, followed by the All India Knock-Out where two teams from each zone will play in one zone.
    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

    The tournament is open to all full Members of the Board except Cricket Club of India, National Cricket Club, Association of Indian Universities and Services Sports Control Board.
        
    •    All the matches shall be of Three days duration.
    •    All the matches will be played with STANFORD balls.
    •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draw, dates and venues.

    PLAYERS' ELIGIBILITY :

    The player eligible to participate should be Under-16 years of age as on 1st September of the year of the
    tournament.

    A player can participate in the Under-16 age group for a maximum of three years.

    All such players participating in the Under-16 tournaments for the first time are required to undergo medical examination for determination of age as per Board's guidelines and their medical report should be furnished to the BCCI Head Quarters along with the registration form.     

    DATES AND VENUES :

    Dates and Venues will be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

    TEAM :

    The team shall consist of 15 members, Manager/Coach, and Physiotherapist/Trainer.

  18. VIZZY TROPHY

    This Tournament was started in the year 1966-67 for the promotion of University Cricket in India.
    CONDUCT OF THE TOURNAMENT:

    The tournament shall be conducted by a committee called Vizzy Trophy Committee and its composition and functions shall be as follows:

    (i)    One of the Vice President of BCCI shall Chair this Committee.
        

    (ii)    Two members will be nominated by the BCCI.

    (iii)    Two members will be nominated by the Association of Indian Universities.

    (iv)    The Assistant Secretary (Sports), AIU, will be the Joint Convenor of the Committee,along with the Joint.Secretary,BCCI.
        
    (v)    The Committee shall prepare annual budget and submit annual report to both the Board.

    (vi)    Any amendment, alterations, addition to these rules shall be referred to this committee.

    The tournament shall be played on knock-out basis between the four zones which shall be East, North, West and South as defined by the Association of Indian Universities.

    PLAYERS' ELIGIBILITY :

    The player representing the universities, in the Rohinton Baria Trophy Tournament at the Zonal level will be eligible for selection in the respective zonal teams.
    •    All the matches shall be of Three days duration. And Final shall be of FOUR day duration.
    •    All the matches will be played with SG TOURNAMENT (SPECIAL) balls.
    •    The Vizzy Trophy Committee will decide draw, dates and venues.

    PERIOD:

    The Tournament at the Inter Zonal Level shall ordinarily be played between 1st and 10th February of the year of the tournament as may be decided by the Board on the recommendations of the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

    DATES, DRAW AND VENUES:

    The dates and draw will be taken out by the Vizzy Trophy Committee. The venue to be fixed will also be decided by the Vizzy Trophy Committee.

    Postponement of dates could be done only in case of unforeseen circumstances such as civil unrest, flooding of the place due to heavy rains whereby the opposite team is not able to reach the venue or if later on it is found that the dates clash with important festivals.

    DISQUALIFICATION:

    (a)    A player infringing the rules shall be debarred for period of one year from participating in all the tournaments conducted by the Board or by its member/associate members.

    (b)    If the Vizzy Trophy committee is satisfied that false information of any kind, in relation to the players participating in this tournament has been given, no player of that University shall be eligible to play for the succeeding one year in any of the tournaments conducted by the Board or by its members/associate members.

    (c)    The Zonal University in whose team such a player has participated shall concede the match to the Opponent.

    TEAM:

    A team shall consist of 15 members.

    SELECTION OF ZONAL TEAM : 

    The Zonal Selection Committee shall consist of four persons, of which two including the Chairman, shall be nominated by the BCCI and the other two shall be nominated by the A.I.U. with organizing Secretary of the zonal tournament as convenor. The Chairman to be nominated by the BCCI shall be a member of the All India Junior Selection Committee from the zone. The two selectors to be nominated by the A.I.U. must have played competitive cricket at the University Level.

  19. WOMEN'S CRICKET - SENIOR

    INTER STATE LEAGUE ONE DAY LIMITED


    OVERS (50 Over’s)


    This tournament started in 2006 is played between the members in each of the five zones on league basis, each member in a zone playing the other member once, followed by the Super League where two top teams from each zone will play in one Zone.

    Top two teams from each zone will be divided in two groups (A & B) and matches will be played on Super league basis. Top team from each group will play FINAL.

    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

  20. WOMEN'S CRICKET - SENIOR

    INTER  ZONAL LEAGUE ONE DAY LIMITED


    OVERS (50 OVERS)


    The tournament started in 2006-07 is played on league basis between five zonal teams representing the five zones.

    •    All the matches will be of One Day Limited Over’s and will be played on league basis in a zone.
    •    All the matches will be played with BDM balls.

    •    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will decide draws, dates and Venue.

    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

    The tournament shall be open to full member of the Board except The Cricket Club of India, The National Cricket Club and Association of Indian Universities.

    TEAM

    The team shall consist of 15 members, Manager, Coach and physiotherapist/Trainer.

  21. WOMEN'S CHALLENGER TROPHY

    This tournament was started in season 2007 -2008 is be played between Three teams e.i. India Blue, India Red and India Green on one day Limited over's league basis.
    All the matches will be played as day games at One Venue.

    •    All the matches will be played with BDM balls.

    DATES AND VENUES

    Draw, Dates and Venues will be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee according to principle of rotation.

    TEAM

    The team shall consist of 12 players each to be selected by the All India Selection Committee.

    The staging Association shall appoint a Local Manager for each of the three team.

  22. WOMEN'S INTER STATE TWENTY20 CHAMPIONSHIP

    This tournament is introduced for the first time from the season 2009 -2010 will be played in each zone on league basis played between the members in each of the five zones on league basis, each member in a zone playing the other member once, followed by the Super League where two top teams from each zone will play in one Zone.
    Top two teams from each zone will be divided in two groups (A & B) and matches will be played on Super league basis. Top team from each group will play FINAL

    All the matches will be played in coloured clothing and white Balls, black sight Screen Each Association shall be required to register the pantone colours of its playing clothing with the BCCI prior to its use thereof.

    •    All the matches will be played with BDM  balls.

    Draw, Dates and Venues will be decided by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee according to principle of rotation.

    TEAM

    The team shall consist of 15 Members.

  23. WOMEN'S CRICKET - JUNIOR(UNDER - 19)

    INTER STATE ONE DAY LIMITED OVERS


    (50 OVERS GAME)


    The tournament started in 2007-2008 is played between the members in each of the five zones on league basis, each member in a zone playing the other member once, followed by the Super League where two top teams from each zone will play in one Zone.

    Top two teams from each zone will be divided in two groups (A & B) and matches will be played on Super league basis. Top team from each group will play FINAL.

    •    All the matches will be played with BDM balls.

    ELIGIBILITY OF TEAMS

    The tournament shall be open to all members and associate members except Cricket Club of India, National Cricket, Club, Association of Indian Universities and Services Sports Control Board.

    PLAYERS' ELIGIBILITY

    The players eligible to participate should be Under-19 years of age as on 1st September of the year of the tournament.

    A player in the Under-19 age group tournament can participate in the age group tournament for a maximum of four years.

    No change or alteration in the date of birth once registered with the Board shall be entertained on any ground whatsoever, including changes by affidavit.

    All such players participating in the Under-19 tournament are required to undergo medical examination for determination of age as per Board's guidelines and their medical report should be furnished To the BCCI Head Quarters along with the Registration Form.

    The team shall consist of 15 members.

  24. WOMEN'S CRICKET - JUNIOR(UNDER - 19)

    LIST OF PLAYER


    Each Association shall send to the Board's Office, Mumbai, a list of not more than 25 players who would represent their Association in each of the tournaments conducted by BCCI along with duly signed Registration Forms. The BCCI Insurance Scheme (Personal Accident Policy) will cover only 25 cricketers in each of the category.

    The players must affix their recent photograph and enclose Xerox copy of School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate duly authenticated by the Association after having verified the original certificate in the case of Junior Cricketers.

    In case the completed forms as mentioned above are not received by the Board's office at Mumbai before the commencement of the tournament, the defaulting member shall have to pay a penalty of
    Rs. 50,000/- to the Board. This amount will be deducted from and out of the subsidy or from any other amounts due/payable to such Association by the Board.

    It is mandatory for the Manager of the junior teams to carry with him a file containing copies of the duly signed registration forms submitted to the BCCI along with copies of the report of radiological proof of age.  

    From last season, we have started the facility of on line registration of players. All affiliated units must adhere to our instructions in this regard.   

  25. WOMEN'S CRICKET - JUNIOR(UNDER - 19)

    DATES AND VENUES


    The Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee will meet before 10th July and prepare a plan of schedule of domestic tournaments for the entire season.

    THE DATES AND VENUES FOR THE MATCHES AT THE ZONE LEVEL

        •    Representatives of Associations in each zone will then meet and draw the programme with the dates and venues of the tournament to be played within the respective zones for the year on the basis of guidelines given by the Tour, Programme and Fixtures Committee.

            The programme with dates and venues must reach the Honorary Secretary of the Board with a copy to the Board's Head Quarters before 1st September.

    If the association fails to inform the venue of the match at the meeting of the representatives in each zone, then the same must reach the Honorary Secretary of the Board with a copy to the BCCI Head Quarters. The defaulting association will be fined Rs. 5,000/- and the Honorary Secretary of the Board will then fix the venue of the match.

        •    Unless otherwise decided by the members, venue shall be according to the principle of rotation and should be played at first class centers.

    In case a venue of the match decided earlier is changed, the Staging Association should
    undertake every responsibility to ensure that playing conditions at the new venue are fully satisfactory.
           
    In case it is noticed at the eleventh hour that a match cannot be played at a venue fixed
    earlier, the match should be played only at the Head Quarters of the Staging Association.

    Postponement of dates could be done only in case of unforeseen circumstances such as civil unrest, flooding of the place due to heavy rains whereby the opposite team is not able
    to reach the venue or if later on it is found that the dates clash with important festivals, when the Honorary Secretary/Hony. Joint Secretary may permit change of dates and venue.

    DATES AND VENUES FOR ALL INDIA KNOCK-OUT

    The draw and dates for the tournaments at the knock out stage shall be fixed by the Tour,
    Programme and Fixtures Committee to be ratified by the Working Committee of the Board. While taking out the draw, the Committee shall ensure that the Winners and Runners-up in each zone shall be placed in different halves to avoid two teams in a zone meeting in the same half before reaching the finals. Lots shall be drawn accordingly.

    POLICY OF ROTATION OF VENUES FOR SENIOR TOURNAMENTS

    If two members meet for the first time then the match shall be played at the venue of the senior member, the seniority being decided by the date of affiliation with the Board as full member. In the event of both the members being affiliated to the Board on the same date, the venue shall be decided by the President by drawing lots.

    It shall be always open to the competing members to interchange the location of the match by mutual consent with prior approval of the Honorary Secretary / Hon. Joint Secretary.  When a member entitled to stage a match forgoes his right to do so by mutual agreement, the member foregoing such right shall not be entitled to the choice of venue when the two members concerned meet next.

    When a new venue is fixed for a match by the Association concerned, the match could be staged at this venue only after getting the approval of the Board. The Board will appoint a committee to inspect the venue.

    All matches at the Knock-Out stage of the tournament should be held at the Head quarters of the Staging Association or at any venues fixed by Board.

    PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES

    The Hony. Secretary of the staging member shall ensure that the trophies presented to the winner and runners up are returned back to the Board's Head Quarters within one month of the completion of the tournament.

    NOTE:  The Honorary Secretary of the staging association, within 15 days of the conclusion of the tournament, shall inform the Board's Head Quarters, the winner and runner-up of the
    tournament, name and designation of the person who handed over the trophy and
    photographs, if any, taken of the winning side with the trophy.
